Terms and Conditions for The Boyds Photos & Films
By accessing or using the services provided by The Boyds Photos & Films through www.wearetheboyds.com, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Services
We provide photography and videography services, including but not limited to wedding photography, event photography, video production, and other related services. All services are subject to availability.
2. Booking and Payments
• To book our services, you must provide accurate and complete information.
• A deposit is required at the time of booking. The balance must be paid according to the terms outlined in your contract.
• Payments can be made through accepted methods, such as credit card or other approved payment processors.
3. Cancellations and Refunds
• Any rescheduling of event must be in writing even if a phone call was made to inform The Boyds of the rescheduled date. Credit may be applied to photography coverage within one year of original date provided Photographer or videographer is available. A new agreement will be required. The new package price will reflect pricing in effect when the date change occurs.
• In the event of cancellation by client, The Boyds must receive at least 90 days’ notice in writing provided by Client. Client agrees to forfeit their retainer as payment for reservation of services. In the event of cancellation by the client within 90 days, in addition to forfeiting the retainer, the client will be obligated to pay the following on the remaining balance: 0-14 days: 100%, 15-30 days: 75%, 31-60 days: 50%, 61-89 days: 30%.
• Any additional terms for cancellations or refunds will be outlined in your contract.
4. Client Responsibilities
• You are responsible for providing necessary permissions and access to the event or location for the photography and videography sessions.
• You must ensure that all people involved in the session (such as guests or participants) are aware that photos and videos will be taken.
5. Intellectual Property
• All photographs and videos produced by The Boyds Photos & Films are the property of The Boyds Photos & Films, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
• You may use the images and videos for personal purposes but may not sell, license, or distribute the content without our explicit consent.
6. Use of Website
• You agree to use our website in a lawful manner and not engage in any activity that could disrupt or damage the functionality of the site.
